How do I find my listing?
If the City of McAllen has issued your permit, your listing is already on our site! Browse the listings page or map view and look for your address. Once you find it, sign up and claim it to start customizing.
What if I don't have a permit yet?
You'll need to get a permit from the City of McAllen first. Once you have your permit, your listing will automatically appear on our site, typically within hours. Then you can claim and customize it!
Is it really free?
Yes! Both the basic listing and the Featured Listing upgrade are free. To upgrade, just invite a friend by email. Your listing is upgraded immediately when you send the invite, and you also get a full year of Garage Saler Plus when your friend joins. Featured status lasts through your sale plus 7 days.
Can I have multiple listings?
Absolutely! If you host garage sales multiple times throughout the year, each permit will create a new listing. You can claim and customize each one. To upgrade more than one listing to Featured, invite a new friend for each one. (The City of McAllen allows up to three permits a year, at least 30 days apart; see the permit guide.)
